Potentially time sensitive question...

Not sure how time sensitive this is, but I came home tonight to an almost unreal change from last night. Last night the tallest ones were around an inch, and tonight they've exploded. A few of them look like they have "dropped their veil" although I really have no clue as this is my first grow. The cover is super thick, but would you say I should cut out the ones that look like this? Thanks!

I'd harvest a lot of those. Not the ones in the back that haven't opened their veil yet. Some people would probably just harvest all of them now. Some people would leave them all together until they've all opened up. Just a personal preference really.

If you dont harvest, then you'll end up with spores everywhere. Its time...

Currently harvesting, thanks all! Not worth dealing with spores everywhere, this is already plenty of fruit. After Im done harvesting, should I just heavy-mist and start fruiting again?

Take your cakes when they finish the first flush (so basically after you harvest) and repeat the dunk step of the pf tek. They do not need to be rerolled in vermiculite.

What I find amazing is how the spores just seem to blast out of the caps and leave streaks everywhere. Amazing creature mycelium is.

I did grain bags to a monotub on this one. The "tribal dunk" thread notes that it's not usually required to full dunk after the first flush, only after the 2nd/3rd. Anyone have experience otherwise?

Depends on how wet you prepped it and how big the flush was. You just kinda have to get a feel for it.
A quick dunk can’t hurt though. Maybe 20-30 mins. And see how much it soaks up.
