Mushrooms in a grow tent

Until recently, I've been able to dedicate a room for my grows. However, i'm going to have to migrate it to a spot in the main living area of my home. Does anyone have experience with setting up their mushroom grow in a hydroponic grow tent? What is you experience with it if so? Can anyone show me some pics of their setup to give me some ideas?

In mycology I think you are looking for a martha setup.

What're you fruiting? Monos, shoeboxes, cakes?
Whats the temp like inside your hydro tent?
How big of a tent are we talking?

If I was in that position I'd get a 4x4 or a 2x4 tent. Then get some kinda storage shelf in there and a light. Then just shoe boxes or whatever you can fit.
I don't know if the air would get stagnant or not, so you might wanna fan it out once a day. Or if you already have the setup for cannabis, use an inline fan to exhaust the air out.

that's Exactly what i was thinking. I just want to grow in shoe boxes, and unmodified monos. I've no interest in setting up a Martha, as I don't have the space for both. The idea of using a grow tent for both, at different times seems feasible. Does the inline fan sufficient air for the mushrooms? what are peoples experience with growing in such manner?

That's what I'm running right now 6x6 tent. The gh is full of monos too. I have a friend on here that's running a grow tent but it is a Martha essentially. If you don't want to deal with a Martha you might be able to stack some monos in your tent. The only reason I'm using the larger gh is to control the temp in the gh and Martha bc it's a cold building where I'm set up.

Be careful with how the fan is situated in relation to the substrate, it shouldn't be to bad with unmodded monos and SB's but if it's a strong fan it may dry out your substrate some. When I have my heater on in the winter it blows towards my shoeboxes and they dry out a little quicker so I have to spray more often
If you have your fan lined up to where the air is bouncing off a wall, or say some plants it should reduce subs drying out
Unmodded monos and shoeboxes really don't need much extra airflow, your grow tent should already have an airflow system hooked up for the plants (mabye lights to depending what your running) so whatever airflow you set up for your plants should be actually MORE than enough for fungi

OP I have been fruiting minimono's in a large armoire with doors that are often closed for a while now. I do not have any issue with lack of fresh air in my set-up and I do not pump any air in or out. Not as sealed as a grow tent though. Great steath as it looks like it belongs in the room.

65 average. My tent is 72-78. The humidifier ran dry and those x7x trays were stunted. They grew short but I got lots of good prints and the trip was awesome. I have a full tray that is growing normal. They are all multispore from very old spores. I've only been growing for two months and these were the first spores I germinated. Pretty much just test trays to dial the Martha in with. I'll have pretty ones by the end of the week. The Martha runs great when I keep the humidifier full. Def open to suggestions tho.
This Mycelium was weak for several transfers. It needs work but I'm glad it grew at all. Almost everything I'm growing are from 2012 prints.

That Redboy brick was from this mycelium which stayed weak for a long time. Also just happy to have fresh prints to work with. My spore collection is dying it's so old. I'm weeding out dead prints and fruiting anything that will grow.

Did any of the x7x prints put out pink spores?

What are you hoping that the tent provides? Temp control, humidity, automation, privacy, security? There is a real risk of over complicating things. It always seems like Martha Teks are just people looking to geek out and buy more gadgets for the hobby. If you prep your mono tub correctly you can keep it directly on your carpeted floor and walk around every day with no problems.

Gizmo no these prints look pretty normal but the print these were grown from has pink. I've got a tray the size of a mono fruiting right now and I've got two more monos of x7x colonizing, each from different cultures from the original agar. When I do get some prints with pink I'll be giving them away for sure. βthis is the first time I've tried a tray this big and it's the first time I've tried 3-4 inch sub. This is the x7x tray I was talking about. The funny color is just from manure water, it got a little wet when I first set up the Martha.

Idk if you guys are asking me or the op what the point of the tent is but in my case my grow isn't in my home it's in a building I have exclusive access to. I go there everyday and then I come home and do my sterile work. It is a very large room and it's cold. The gh provides a space small enough I can easily control my temps without having to heat the whole building.
I tried shoeboxes bc I've never done them before, I used to use foil baking pans. I'm running monos bc I sucked at them in the past and I'm trying to succeed where I failed before. I've been away from the hobby a long time, most of what I'm doing is either things I've not tried before or things I've had trouble with. I'm gonna have some ugly grows, but I'm also having success with 4 species I've always failed at. Cubes are just to pass the time. I'm relearning everything, a lot of what I thought I knew is outdated.

I like the idea of a martha. but simplicity has worked the best for me since I've started. My main reasons for using a tent are, privacy, keeping my dog and kids away from grow area, and also being able to use it for other grows in the spring, Cannabis, seedlings for my vegetable garden etc.
