floccularia albolanaripes?
    #26406761 - 12/29/19 06:44 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Habitat:
Sierra Nevada foothills at appx 1800 ft. On forest floor composed of pine, oak, and manzanita. Growing all over a hillside, but in singles and doubles only as far as I saw

Gills:
Cream/pale yellow, deep. Young specimens had veil.

Stem:
Then, flexible and fibrous when broken. Shaggy partway down

Cap:
Yellow on edges, brown towards middle. Smooth.

Spore print color:
Silver/white? So far not seeing much so maybe not.

Bruising:
No notable changes

Other information:
Smells earthy, like typical store bought ones

New to all this and just moved to the sierras. Still researching how to hunt so any feedback is appreciated.

Cantharocybe gruberi can look similar and is found in the same habitat.
