Dry weight low?

So after harvesting  part of a first flush which came out to 670g wet, after drying in the dehydrator it weighed in at 42g dry, which based on general calculations Ive seen here...seems low. Does that mean my mushies were super moist?

Ya they say weight will be 10% but ime it’s always less as will. 20 grams wet usually comes out to like 1.6 or so dry for me. Maybe since fresh fruits are supposed to be more potent they are referring to potency. Like 20 grams wet is equal to 2 grams dry.. even though you technically need more dry fruits to equal the effects of less fresh fruits... or something like that

Congrats on being on the light side of average.

I’ve found anywhere from 85-95% water is to be expected.
This is why dosing wet shrooms is an extra crapshoot, since had you dosed based on 90% it would have been low due to the variable nature of water content.
