Unmodified pp5 containers to fruit pan cyans with screw lid.

This is a work in progress, i haven't actually done it but i can't see why it wouldn't work. I will update the thread as it goes.
I found the perfect size containers to fruit pan cyans cakes, this with the purpose to avoid the pasteurization of bulk substrate and the spawn2bulk colonization time. I also avoid the use of mycobags. The containers have a screw lid, my idea is to unscrew the lid enough to allow GE and apply parafilm but this could also work without parafilm since the loose screw lid is an obscure pathway for contams.
This is the container, i bought 6 of them for the test.

Like a BIG Petri dish I also bought 2 containers of the same brand but these are 4" deep for cubes, also the name of the brand is Cubasa . Same principle with petri dishes, when inoculating in the SAB or HOOD, you just open them in certain angle and form kind of a shield with the lid and just leave a gap for the inoculant to enter the container. This obviously make it difficult for the contams to land on a vertical angle. I'm not scared of the wideness of the container
These are the measurements of the container.
About 6 centimeters deep or a little bit less than 2.5 inches deep.

13 centimeters wide or a little bit more than 5 inches wide.

I'm thinking inoculating these by pouring LC from a media bottle but i will also try inoculating these with an agar wedge, i'm already saving work and time by avoiding all the bulk substrate process
I will use Azura recipe for bulk substate of pan cyans.

This leads to a dry weight of 1100g. And this assumes that everything (particularly manure) is BONE DRY.
Now for the water...
I added 1900g of water to the substrate. Nice math because this adds up to 3000g total weight. I did that on purpose.

I still will have to pasteurize some casing substrate to use on top, i'm so lazy.
I'm thinking fruiting them in a martha but i will also experiment by adapting an easy put on/take off flexible plastic around the container to form a fruiting chamber and then make some holes? idk...
EDIT: Update, works great!
Panaeolus cyanescens TECATEPEC

Very similar, but with the screw lid you can open them way easier and you don't really have to make a hole for GE with a SFD on top. In theory, you can just unscrew the lid enough to allow GE. Unscrew the lid to inoculate, hold the lid as a "shield", less messier IMO.
I won't use a dry verm barrier since is not needed in my opinion. I rather use parafilm as a filtering material. But i'm sure it can work without parafilm as well. And with a dry verm barrier he must have used a syringe to inoculate.

Not really
Is that autoclavable? I doubt. What you did there, did you just throw there some spawn and some bulk substrate?

Exactly! No GE holes or SFD filters! You only unscrew/loose the lid as well?

Ohhh haha i get you now. Yeah hahaha . You meant the part of the fruiting chamber, got ya.
Yeah, i don't want to put a bag on top, i want to put like a more rigid plastic that i can easily bend to adapt to the cylindrical structure of the pp5 container.
