Hi good people,
I began my journey a couple of years back via a very carefully measured regime for a few months - the results in improving my mental health were beyond the efficacy of any regular pharma that I'd tried since 2011.
However, since it's too bothersome to switch from low dose lithium to the micro-dosing shroom method, especially for traveling over-seas, I ended the self-medication protocol.
Now, all of the above I gather for many of you out there is easy enough to follow, maybe even familiar. The next segment of my post through background, story, hypothesis and question to this broad community is gonna be a bit weird to say the least. Here goes.
Firstly I'll set the scene; I'm very familiar with much of the archived audio of Terence McKenna (please keep reading) - he talked about 'the mushroom' to the extent that he essentially considered himself an ambassador for it, in a rather personified way, so in part, I've wondered for a while if the spores could have actually taken some kind of 'root' in his brain, physically, in a symbiotic way.. not just in a matter of his 'mind' or thinking. We are talking about a very old species here. Could this adaption not be too far fetched? I am not a scientist by the way.
Secondly, another connected theme; the understanding that in the ant world there exists viruses and fungus that effect the behaviour of said ants to either suicide or in some way behave up until the point of death, to be the pro-generator of a fungus fruit body.
Alright third theme, at the same point more or less of the same chink in the neck on the 'saved' characters of the matrix movies (yes, of the ants) - (again, please keep reading) there is this one point of access to a main-frame of higher connected intelligence, if you will.
Lastly, before I tenuously connect the dots; every now and then, I have a sore arise in exactly this place. A single point, painful like a pimple or an in-grown hair. It can get more uncomfortable over a period of days, even weeks and so present that even as I flex the skin of my neck just by turning it, I'm reminded that it's there more so. Now, you might have a gist of where I'm going with this..
Instead I'm simply gonna ask; What do you all think? (yes, of course some humour and twisted stuff is gonna come trough - go for it, I guess).. Though really, what do you think? Does 'anyone' also experience about the same, even? I've asked around other 'nauts irl and don't yield much convo' fodder..
Terence carked it via a brain tumour by the way, poor bugger.
