Cactus ID * 1
    #26402676 - 12/27/19 08:36 AM (4 years, 1 month ago)

So I was gifted this cactus a year+ ago. It was neglected and I thought it was going to die. The top dried up and pupped. It's a gorgeous cacti but the previous owner didn't know what it was. It's got very distinctly shaped needles. Thought I'd see if someone knew what it was

Thanks!

Looks like a Trichocereus species.  Possibly peruvianus or something similar

Probably Trichocereus cuzcoensis

It would benefit from stronger light as well. The identifiable features are kind of masked due to the weaker growth. Otherwise, it's perfectly fine and healthy.

Awesome thanks! Ya all my cacti were etiolated badly in the window. I put them under an LED grow light. They are doing much better but still not enough light. I'm looking into other options. The house doesn't get good enough light and it's about 20 degrees here in Idaho so..
