SE QLD "The Rain Has Come!!" General Discussion

Hello kind, loving humans
I'm sure all of us SE Queenslanders & Northern NSWaleeans are shaking in our little boots out of excitement, as we begin venturing out in to our paddocks and forests to begin the hunt!
Perhaps this rain has also been a blessed relief to our friends further south, that are getting nailed by the bushfires. Our thoughts are with these people during these tough times.
I post this as a discussion thread for a bit of hype and encouragement to those out there who have not yet found any nice flushes yet this season (such as myself).
I'll start this thread with a picture of a nice SE QLD haul that someone sent me, from the beginning of this year. All were found in the classic poo paddocks after a nice spurt of rains!

Do you have any tips on finding good paddocks around Brisbane? Or would anyone be open to bringing me along when they go picking?
I've never been before in the Brisbane/SEQ area so not too sure where the good spots are.

Sorry dk-1, it's against the forum rules to mention any specific spots, or organise any meetups (to my current understanding)
I can offer the tip that the wetter, the better. In my personal experience I've found that generally drier areas, even in paddocks after rain, yield little to none of any actives.
Slightly more tropical/rainforesty areas, where the ground is moister and the grass naturally a bit longer, in my findings are more suitable to the fun little guys.
Trust the info you can find online, and don't be discouraged by lack of findings. Make friends with common interests and keep trying!

We Had 30mm a few weeks ago around a certain spot, but after checking it is still far to dry on the field and a nearby creek was running at low levels I haven't seen in years. we need some serious rain like 100+mm for things to really get kicking. Good luck all
