Is it wrong to not really care about christmas anymore when i'm only 18. Every year it was super exciting but not I don't care. Is this just part of being an adult or is it my depression that I thought had pretty much gone away

My Tripping Playlist Many centuries ago, there existed a formation of man. This version of us was of great power and great enlightenment. There came an evil presence known as the Babylonians. They are said to have reconfigured our DNA to make the majority of it void. This has encapsulated us in our limited, selfish ways. To seek truth we must tune our minds to the right frequency and only then we will truly know what to do.

Same happened to me around 18 years old, atleast it's only one day a year(feels like 1 month per year)
The Xmas songs repeated constantly, the Xmas adverts.. Alcohol I hate alcohol... The only good thing is getting to see my nephew enjoy his day (lucky I have that) some people have no one.
Just try not be depressed about it be thankfull you have family(hopefully) as I can only imagine what it's like to be alone with nobody, no presents, no good food, no cheer.

Some people think we have christmas because of shamans who used amanita muscaria and for all i know it might be true
Cristmas as it is today sucks big time. Capitalist holiday #1 is what I would call it. I do like this time of the year tho, it makes me feel very cozy

Jesus was and is largely a mystery. Christams is pretty close to celestial events such as winter solstice and perihelion. These events energy can feel different in the mind and body. Transformation can occure. It usually is marked by peoples anxiety.
A good time of year to enjoy family.

OP: it's kind of a coin toss. lots of us don't give two shits about Christmas, birthdays, and all other holidays. but there are multiple sides to this. sometimes it's not about what you want or think but about being participatory and not negative to bring some happiness to others, especially your family. suck it up, grin, and bear it. as others say, it's only one day.

Resist the temptation to depress yourself because of a holiday. It's part of becoming mature.

Mundane life can be something good. Work though the struggle by just seeing how much there is. Boredom depression and anxiety is real but not.
We learned a lot of bad energy and used to hopefully have some good awareness very young in life. It's very hard for people to be with themselves, it's exactly what it takes. Sooner or later it's gotta give.
It's really a fear of having a heart. The heart communicates with energy. They can read a hearts energy. The mind heart connection needs soul to let go. To feel the life giving love.
Just being mundane and observing the ebb and flow of lifes energies. We learned to much, lost soul and damaged the heart. Healing just happens at times, it's loving and can wake up energies that teach more about anxiety tensions.

It comes with age. I'm 35 now and have a 16 year old, 12 year old and a 3 year old dog. The dog was the most excited to get up and go check out presents this morning.

This is gold. The best present you could ask for on Christmas.
The sooner you realize that you control the trajectory of your mood, and ultimately your life, the faster you can become a satisfied adult. You see everything how you want to see it.
Is it sheep blinded by capitalism to buy shit they don't need or is it regular people choosing to find a time a year in which they can celebrate many of the wonderful things in life? That is up to you.
Just remember, there is a temptation to see everyone as sheep, and the reason that is so tempting is because at the root of that is you just patting yourself on the back for being sooooo smart you didn't fall into the trap of the corporations.

It's amazing how much we can feel blessed, or ripped off. These karma's, these personal egotistical hell and the stress that makes them seem real and difficult to separate from.
