Porcini?
    #26397557 - 12/23/19 01:55 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Found this under some pine trees in Sf.
Look like a bolete. Any idea? Can I eat?

May it be far from your last. This species is the cream of the crop. I spend most of the year yearning for them to start popping again.
Now it's dead winter back where I live, but I spend considerable amounts of my spare time looking for new potential spots, marking
them off in my mind's notebook to bring forth the next season. Luckily I found and dried enough to supply me until then and beyond.
