ID Request - Seattle psilocybe, possibly Allenii?

Long-time Psilocybe hunter in Washington. I primarily hunt Ps. Cyanescens. I came across these right next to a cyanescens patch I'd found earlier in the season (no longer fruiting). Ideal habitat, nice seasoned chips, nettles, blackberry bushes, etc. Lots of visible mycelium.
I was skeptical at first, because the stems seemed so different from the psilocybe stems I'm used to (these were not durable and some of the more matures nearly disintegrated to the touch). They seem to have some definite psilocybe characteristics though, and there appears to be some blue/green bruising.
I regret not taking better habitat pics. These were pretty scattered and hiding under lots of ground cover. And of course, it was out in the open, lots of families walking by etc.
I'm awaiting spore prints right now.
Any help here is appreciated! Thanks.

I don't think those are allenii, they almost look like them, but something is off... azures maybe? hmmm... Not sure what they are... curious to see what others think!
Definitely psilocybe but you already figured that much I know lol. Nice find!

Really? With just how much confidence do you say that? I've looked at pics of allenii, ovoids, etc...these don't seem to look quite like any of those. I'm pretty stumped.

the younger ones really did have an azure look, at least the caps did. Pretty sure azure stems are sturdy like cyans' though, and these stems were pretty mushy. I've also never personally heard of anyone I know finding azures in Seattle.

Overall appearance including the velar remnants on the cap margin and the fibrillose lower half of the stem speaks in favour of P. ovoideocystidiata.

I thought azzies at first glance but ovoidiocystidiata is a better fit.

Ovoids it is then. Thanks for all the input, guys. Never stumbled upon this species in nearly 15 years of hunting in Seattle. They are pretty funky, even by mushroom standards (they smell atrocious). Interested to see what their effects are like compared to other Ps. varieties.

Hmmm... The only psilocybe smelled atrocious to me so far was one single allenii out of a group of about 20 and that one was rotting/going bad. It did not look like rotting per say, but the rest of them weren't smelling like that and this one looked more water logged, deeper brown and "mushier" than the rest.
I don't know, I'm just unsure on "atrocious" + psilocybe. Am I missing something?

The substrate looks pretty nasty. Could be growing near dog shit, giving it that "atrocious" smell.

Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata.
It is awesome how many densely populated retail corridors we've been able to inoculate ovoids up over here!
It's so funny at points especially the faces of people's reactions midday if you crouch to examine specimens.

Smell is a very individual thing. I think that cubensis smells atrocious, and many have said that cubensis smell is NOTHING compared to ovoids. I definitely wouldn't like to smell them. I know when I used to eat cubes, gel capsules were the onky tolerable method for me. And I'd pray to all the good gods I would think of that I don't burp for the next several hours.
