Cubensis spores germinating on agar(pics), need opinions good or bad?

Hey people, These 3 plates were inoculated with cubensis spores on 13th december. Is it mycelium starting to grow? Its translucent at the moment but usually turns white and fluffy after a while
The black spots are clumps of spores. 6th picture along in the first row, the bubbly looking area at the top is where the loop cooled into the agar (ill keep an eye on it)

These were inoculated on the 5th december and they looked very similar to how the plates about are beginning to look, anything worth transfering on these?

You mean the other post you commented on? That's a few random questions about how cube mycelium should look and transfers.
These pictures are completely different, with new spores and new agar recipe.. Some second opinions would be much appreciated

just transfer from a leading edge, you’re not gonna have good sections to choose from since the dish is straight from spores. more transfers = more isolation.

I've got multiple transfers that all look bad, will try a few from these plates but then just trying brand new spores will be best option I think

these pics all look like mycelium to me. the bottom pick with the red agar look like it has some green tinge, might be the lighting though. if so i’d just transfer

Those definitely look like cube myc to me. Might as well make some transfers if you got germination. If those were my plates, I would take the rhizo looking parts at about 1 o'clock on pics 4 and 5.
I know some people have good luck with cottony sectors, but I generally go for the rhizo sectors. The leading edge is a good way to go either way. Try not to grab ones too close to the edge, because that's where bacteria usually likes to show up.

Next time try to use less spores, you are using way too much. I usually just flame the inoculation loop or whatever I am using (scalpel or other metal thing, you can use a nail if you wanted), cool down in the agar, then dip the end of the inoculation loop in the spores and swipe on the agar plate. When I say dip, it means that you just barely touch the spores, you only need just a few spores (not visible with your eyes) as more spores will carry more contamination and you will also have lots of strains crowding on each other making any isolation attempt harder.

^Good advice. I've been guilty of doing that too before.

Ah good to hear it looks like mycelium the green tinge is the food color being used up I think happened on all the red plates, but not using food color anymore and changed recipe to 7g agar/7g LME per 500ml for the germination plates so see how that goes. (was 10g/10g 500ml)
I see that rhizo lookin part you mentioned plate 5 1oclock will transfer and pray :P
I'll also try less spores makes sense what you said
Thanks a lot for the info guys
