    #26394399 - 12/21/19 05:29 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

How do y’all combat the sediment when making lme Lc?
I’ve tried with 1 and 2 gram of lme for 500ml 15psi 15mins
mix it fast, mix it slow in small amounts and I’m still getting a crud... I know I’m being an idiot!!! Help please

This is the best one I’ve had so far

And this is one of the worst

I use cold, dechlorinated water to mix. When I use hot it always seems to clump.
That said, idt it actually matters to the myc, but have not experimented enough to firmly state that.

Stop using hot water. Use cold tap or bottle water for clear broth.

Myc doesnt care tho:cheers:

Stopped using hot after reading your thread, using tap water at the minute but  i’ll try deionized & bottled this evening!

I personally just dechlorinate through aggressive boiling for about 30m. I think bottled might be unneccessary expensive/wasteful...unless you have flint-level tap water

That LC you have looks nice and healthy tho
