    #26394336 - 12/21/19 04:45 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Is this cobweb or mycelium. If it’s cobweb should I mist with peroxide even though pinning has occured

That looks to be different than the rest of the growth in the tub.  Cobweb grows very rapidly so keep and eye on it.  If it is cobweb you'll know.  Then mist it with peroxide.  I've never had cobweb but that is the general advice.

Are you sure I feel like it could just be mycelium. Would peroxide hurt the pins?

If it's mold there's really nothing that can be done.

Peroxide won't help and will damage healthy mycelium and fruits.

Just leave it alone, don’t do anything hasty. Wait and see what happens. It’s not just that one spot because I see the same stuff on the left side of the photo

Cobweb, or any mold honestly, spreads fast...you'll know for sure in the next 24-48 hours.

Peroxide use is not advised.

If it ultimately turn out to be contaminated, should I harvest my pins and would they be edible or could I continue to let them grow out?

For contaminated subs I grow my fruits out as much and as long as I can, harvest, then toss.

As long as the fruits don't get over run with contams they are still edible.

For now just be patient
