Please do a smell and flavor check of the Russula - i.e. nibble a bit. What kind of trees did it grow with?
Also take a spore print on foil or black paper.

Can't say much about your Suillus since I don't live in your area, but did it grow with conifer or deciduous trees?

Both fungi are found among conifers, im worried the russula could be emetica/the sickener russula. Both have white spore prints? As for a taste test..last time i tried that; I actually got sick. All i did was taste the mushroom with my tongue and then rinsed with water. Maybe i should have rinsed with vinegar or alcohol?

The common Russla is red
And it is very strong.

It looks like a fly agaric without
the spots.

I mistakenly tried it once and
It was crazy.

Definetly a new experience.

Didn’t feel sick just different in
A new way.

Also called “the common sickener”

The mushrooms are great.
The mushrooms are fine.
Give me them with lashings of wine.
