15, 20 years ago you could call someone the n-word and go about your day. Now you do it you’re getting recording, next it’s posted to social media, and then you’re getting escorted out of your workplace. Or maybe it’s women no longer willing to tolerate rampant sexual harassment.
I don't know when you think it was acceptable to call people the N-word, but it surely wasn't 20 years ago. It wasn't acceptable even 50 years ago. It was never acceptable to sexually harass women, it's just dealt with differently today.

When has the left ever condoned these ism? Conservatives have done a great job of deluding the definitions of racism, sexism, etc. Yet every extremist white group identifies themselves as Conservatives and have unnatural of anything considered Liberal. Before you trot out the old “Democrats supported slavery” keep in mind that party labels switched in the 60s. All those racist Democrats switched parties when LBJ supported Civil Rights Legislation.

I’m not saying that the use of the n-word or sexual harassment was acceptable. But with the invention of social media more scumbags are being exposed and that’s what has Conservatives up in arms. It’s not so easy to talk and act reckless when your behavior can be exposed to millions across the world.

Does the left address racism against whites by blacks and Hispanics? No, some even suggest you can't be racist against white people. Does the left address sexist and homophobic non-white cultures? No, Islam and others get a free pass. Look at rap music in the African American community, it's full of sexist, homophobic and racist language, yet not a word.

Everyone knows it's a new world today and I wouldn't suggest conservatives are up in arms about it. Look who's getting busted more than anyone today, it's famous people like Harvey Weinstein, Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer, Jeff Epstein and many others. So it really doesn't matter if your liberal or conservative, everyone gets busted.

They've done research and conservatives score higher on disgust sensatvity. So avoidance is still an attachment.
Liberals are more open minded and educated. Conservative propaganda preys on the weak.

Liberals should be more open minded than conservatives, but today that isn't the case. Being open minded doesn't mean you fall into line on every issue to defend an ideology, but that's what most liberals do today. Just regurgitating what your college professor is spewing isn't being open minded or thoughtful.
Liberal propaganda also preys on the weak and that's happening more than ever today and Trump Derangement Syndrome is a perfect example. Liberals used too care more about the facts and evidence, again that's no longer the case today.

absolutely they do
it doesn't excuse the conservatives that fall under this category but the left, even though they mask themselves as the party of love and acceptance, is every bit as hateful as the right

Can't people just see that this whole dem vs lib bullshit was orchestrated by the powers that be and carried out by the media just to divide us? Divide and conquer. While we're fighting, they're quietly sneaking out the back door with all our rights and money.

If I'm being completely honest as a liberal, I don't really think trump has been that bad as president. In fact, in terms of international politics, I think he's been pretty good. Not necessarily great, but pretty good.
My main complaints with him have to do with stuff that he's said that I find highly inappropriate or dangerous. Like him joking about trying to stick around as president after his terms are up, or building a dynasty that lasts forever. It's not very likely that he'll do either of those, but just saying those things as president is very dangerous. At the very least, it sets a bad precedent. Presidents shouldn't even joke about stuff like that because at the very least it normalizes it and makes it easier for worse people down the road to say the same things and mean it.
Despite what you may think about liberals, I'm also concerned about him degrading the dignity of the presidency and about his morality and the example he sets more generally. When republicans would make arguments about the dignity of the presidency or the examples the president sets (for example when Obama was around) I took those arguments relatively seriously. I may not have agreed that certain clothes set a bad example, but the idea more broadly that the president should set a good example and that the position itself needs to be carried with a certain amount of dignity I took pretty seriously.
And now I guess I have to throw all of that away because it turns out that the republicans talking about that stuff didn't really believe in any of it to begin with. Trump does cray shit and the republicans are totally silent. Which is just weird, because like they made me take the whole thing really seriously when apparently they don't give a damn about the morality or dignity or even the basic decency of the presidency. And I do give a damn about it, but it just feels like the whole situation is backwards somehow. I'm arguing for morality and decency and the religious right is not? What gives?
I also don't like how much he has courted people on the far, far right which has emboldened and empowered racists and nazis. But that might have happened anyway with or without him. Still, I'm not crazy about his support or courting of people on the far right.
I was not actually against him from day 1. If you went back in my posts, you'd find I supported him for a while after he became president.
I also oppose the impeachment. I'm sure a lot of other democrats (including some politicians) feel the same way, but a lot of them are afraid to say anything about it. I'm sure republicans know how that feels these days. I'm sure there are a lot of real conservatives who are horrified by some things trump has done or said, but don't feel like they can speak out about it. This whole impeachment thing is AOC's fault. If she hadn't pushed for it, no one else would have done it. She really backed the party into a stupid corner there.
Sorry for writing a book for this post.

Morality and decency are subjective, so I suggest you adjust to the politics of 2020 so that you're not left behind. Social media has changed the world and looking in the rear view mirror isn't going to serve much purpose.
Trump makes up the rules as he goes along and that's why he wins every time. He doesn't care what it takes because he has no limits.

Zappaisgod was the most conservative republican to ever grace the earth and he loathed Trump. He mostly based this on having knowledge as a NY businessman of the epic clusterfuck parade that was the Trump empire.

If a person that is infatuated with politics were able to tally up all the time they spent laboring over manufactured-for-your-consumption-and-parroting talking points, arguing their manufactured-for-your-consumption-and-parroting talking points with the alternate manufactured-for-their-consumption-and-parroting talking points, you'd realize that not only have you been completely neutered and rendered meaningless (because all that time amounted to nothing whatsoever but a waste of time) but that you've spent years on it when you could have been living.
There is no difference in masturbating over "political beliefs" and football-- your views have equal weight with both, and effect the outcome the same way.
Move on.
The parasites will do whatever they want-- don't waste your life following and infatuating over every move-- they're all the exact same club wearing the same jersey under their little "conservative" and "liberal" stage names.

The left commits the same behavior, don't fool yourself.
It's mostly the right that engages in petty violence. There was an incident where someone who was registered as republican maced a woman and a few standing next to her. And rather than trump condemning this behavior he went on tv and stated he would pay for anyone's legal fees related to that kind of behavior. If that's not encouraging violence I don't know what is.
But rep and dems are both bullshit parties. Neither care about the average American. They care about what the money and the lobbiest tell them to. Because if your not a billionaire you can't get elected on your own money. And if you where a billionaire your interests would run counter to someone who makes $40,000 and has kids.

The left is just as violent if not more. That has nothing to do with Trump and his bullshit. People are responsible for their own actions, that applies to all people regardless of political ideology.
