There are a ton of these guys growing from the mulch in my flower bed here in Georgia. Curious as to what they are. Thanks.

Looks more like Hypholoma too me. Would be nice to see a spore print

It looks like Hypholoma to me. Without knowing more about substrate and spore print, it looks like young Hypholoma capnoides. I don’t know how common they are in Georgia but they look pretty damn close to H. capnoides. I have a well-developed patch of grass where we used to have a pile of chips and year after year they come up through the grass. Any conifers real close by or used in the bed?

Does look like there’s pine straw in that bed. These are the tough ones to ID. Certainly not active though, if you were curious about that at all.

I found this today in a garden I tend. Had no idea that the fence board was holding out on me. The 2 by 4 was douglas fir, the wood chips surrounding are liquid amber, curly q willow, some peach and some black berry 2 inch cuts.

I just got back from a long ass day at work. It's dark. I'll try and grab one in the dark on my way to work and print it. Someone said they're not active. I know that. I'm just wondering what they are. I saw a ton more in ATL today

I see these guys everywhere in mulch beds in North GA. I’m curious to know as well.
