You spawned a germ plate?! Does that usually work?
On a side note, can I get some opinions on my plates.. I’m thinking 8 o’clock on both of them. What do you guys think?

Also, about to be quite busy. All these tubs needs to be dumped, then the jars spawned into tubs. The jars in the box to the right are all for LAGM2O2O. those will go into the GH for another 10 days or so then rinse and repeat (though I may need more tubs). Then all those free jars will be restarted with more rushed and questionable wedges and hope for the best.

It is certainly not recommended, but it can work and I was\am rushed. The risk of contams is of course much higher, but as with any transfer to grain, I cut from areas that looked clean and am hoping for the best. It's a bit like using an MSS in BRF but instead of germinating in the jars, the did so on the plate.
As for your plates, I think 8 o'clock is a good call. Definitely on 2. On 1, I would go for that translucent bit anywhere from 6 to 9.

This is my first time using the Ziplock containers, I didn't modify them, just left the lids slightly loose in the PC. There was a fair amount of condensation on the lids after leaving them in the PC to cool, but I just tilted them to let most of it drip off while inoculating.

here's a not so fun update.

I had a spot of pseudomonas (? pretty sure at least?) on the base of a really tight third flush cluster of GT. Fuck it, I thought. pluck it and toss it. Then it popped up in a second flush B+ shoebox, and I thought damn that sucks but what can you do except remove it and give more FAE? Then again in a tight cluster of first flush ecuador. Clearly I'm fucking up somewhere (am I farting in the room too much??? I don't know! I wash my hands all the time?!?!), so I'm shutting things down a bit earlier than I expected to - I was already planning on taking a short break from active tubs to focus on agar for a while, since I have too many mushrooms as is and I'm rearranging things in my house, but I think I've got to hit reset and do a deep clean on my whole room ASAP. Maybe this is overkill but I really don't want to get something big rolling and have it halted again, so it seems like a good spot to hit pause - this ecuador tub hasn't been perfect, but was looking like I'd at least get some good clone potential until today. I got two fruits that are printable at least, and plenty of fruits that I picked weren't showing the pseudo so it's not a total loss.
BUT in better news I got my collection of LAGM prize prints from grimsweeper today which is very exciting. Thanks so much dude. When I get rolling again in a few months I'll start a poll in my journal for my giveaway from the collection.

More Fae That shizz is everywhere all the time it only thrives in wet stale conditions. No need to shut down just put a fan in the room. It isnt airborne but can become Airborne in water droplets if you mist it but it wont go far. I see it in alot of people's grows. Its only really an issue if conditions are shitty. Also totally safe to eat just a little unsightly, you could also try prepping your sub with a bit less h2o
I think of it kinda like bud rot (botrytis) when growing weed, you dont want to see much of it, but a little just means your getting nice super dense buds, or in this case a little pseudo because your clusters were so dense.

Well it’s time for me to do a deep clean myself. 4 shoeboxes with cobweb, and I’ve looked at all kinds of pictures and what not, there was no doubt. I’ve moved jars out and freshly spawned sb this morning, just got settled from work and about to field day the room. Luckily it wasn’t anything for LAGM, and will have everything under control when those jars are ready to go. Irish whiskey and bleach here we come!

T3s update 31st January
T3 day for PESA and TOC. The T2 plates looked quite uniform, although not much definition of rhizo growth. Took two transfers from each, just from one plate each as I was short on time and frankly don't need to have dozens of plates growing out! I hope anyway. If these grow out well enough I will be throwing them to birdseed in a week or two.

The jalisco plate was looking good as well. I mean, it still may be mould that I'm growing but I'm almost sure it's mushroom mycelium. I'm much more excited about growing stones than actual shrooms at the minute so I'm praying to the mushroom gods that it's the right stuff!
An agar pin I've been cleaning up is showing nice growth as well. Took another two transfers from it.
I received some prints from trades, so got Rustywhyte and PE swiped to spore plates. I like these pint-sized PP5s for spore plates, plenty of surface area to swipe and let growth grow out a little.

All being well, in the next couple of weeks I should be busy PCing jars of WBS. Might try some oats if I can find them locally, just for some variation. I have a total of 8 pint jars, 4 quart jars and a bunch of smaller random jars from jam and pickles and whatnot. I need to order more ISO now as I can't find it anywhere in town, I got surgical spirit but it doesn't seem to be the same thing.
Should I save the quart jars for the Jalisco? Or will stones grow happily enough in quart jars?

I got some abysmal fruit from multispore. Going to go for 2nd flush and see if anything is worth cloning. Lots of abortions. Didnt have time to salvage it.

The two GTs look so different. 1. Should I send both to jars? 2. Go for T4 on each? 3. Is one clearly contam? Pic #1 Pic #2

My gt plates look a lot like that first picture, seems to be really fuzzy compared to other kinds.
I’d definitely take another transfer they both have some sketchy spots on the edges, especially the top of the first one.
