It’s bacteria and maybe too wet. I had the same thing my first grow it was fine, took a little longer but it recovered and put out canopy pinset all of a sudden.
Did you use a peat casing?? That’s what caused mine it was all good until the tek I used said to sterilize the peat which it turns out makes it extra vulnerable to contamination.

Ya the tub that I had that looked like yours at that stage still gVe me over an ounce bit my mushrooms were super deformed.
I could be wrong but thise definitely look like my blobs did...
If you loom you can still see some blobs on the sub similar to yours which are at the early stages..

No I used coir n vermiculite. So if it’s a bacterial infection do you know what kind and should I toss or will I still get safe fruits?

You’re good man don’t toss it. The one in my signature started out like yours and a couple people told me to toss it and then I put out an ounce the first flush. As long as there’s nothing fuzzy or colorful growing you’ll be fine.
Bacteria is mostly harmless I think, and they die during drying anyway.

No ot doesn't dont know what caused the blobs but I'm guessing its genetic because that other tray is a different variety

I hope you're right because I got about 2 ounces worth of fruits with pseudomonas

Ok yeah it’s way too wet then if that’s coir. Same mistake I made. Just stop misting til the color goes back to lighter brown. Unless you have a weird brand of dark coir.
I saw your crazy stem tub man that’s a weird bacteria. Even crazier another guy posted with the same thing right after you did. Must be the season for pseudo whatever it’s called

Did u look at my photo? That's what I think those clusters are, they are a type of deformation.
I'm still trying to figure out why your coir is the color of coffee beans...that's not right.
What did ur coir look like before you hydrated it? How much water did you add to it?

Followed the bucket Tec and achieved field capacity. Although I did most lightly twice after switching to fruit

The sub isn’t as dark as the photo shows but it’s still pretty wet. Should I dry the substrate out a bit if so what method would you recommend

Just ease up on misting. It’s hard to tell what’s going on for sure if it’s not that dark in person

Depends on what your currently doing for FAE...
But If it is too wet I would definitely stop misting and maybe up the FAE depending on what you are currently doing for it.
People will crack their lid, lossen or even remove poly if their sub is too wet. But I'm too new to this to risk telling you whether or not it is too wet.
Wait until a more experienced cultivator chimes in...
