Help Please Edible? Enoki? Sulfur Tuft?
    #26387112 - 12/17/19 01:40 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Hello! Newbie here, so thank you for any help!

I had some land cleared a few years ago and these mushrooms are growing prolifically on one of the tree logs in a huge brush pile. I live in the N. GA. Mtns and it's been fairlyt warm and rainy. I'm not sure the kind of tree. There were pines and hardwoods.

I just have brought some inside, no spore print yet.
Spore print color:
Very important!

No bruising, just smells like a mushroom!

Brick caps?  Which half the world thinks is edible and the other doesn't? LOL  Not that I plan on trying them. Just in case.
I have many different mushrooms growing in the brush pile. Interesting to explore!
