Can it be dried and used to microdose?

Mind you, I have no experience with eating psychoactive Amanita species, but I believe microdosing doesn't really apply to them as it does with psilocybin mushrooms. However I'm not the right person to give advice on these matters.

You aren't going to have fun on amanitas. But wait for a TI for positive ID. It's absolutely an amanita. And FYI there are species of amanita that are the deadliest mushrooms in the world so DO NOT mess up

Amanita muscaria var. guessowii / Amanita persicina, one of the two, both contain the active chemicals in similar concentrations. I have heard some things about microdosing Amanitas, but you should do your own research on the topic

Yes.
Using small amounts of dried specimens is the best way to use this fruit.
It has more dissociative like effects so taking it slow is helpful for therapeutic purposes, similar to research that has come out about clinical uses of dissociative anesthetics like ketamine.
Drying these fruits out right away after gathering spore prints is important to preserve the freshness because they do decompose rather quickly compared to other mushrooms.
Read as much as you can about traditional uses of this plant, trip reports & maybe post questions about it on the Psychedelic Experience forum or The Pub forum.
Cheers!

^ I second this. A. muscaria is really nice in modest doses. Just eat caps slowly over the evening for a nice sedative effect. I guess it's not technically microdosing, but it's just a relaxing time, short of full-on experience.
