store bought manure compost
    #26382134 - 12/14/19 08:50 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Im going to start enriching my bulk sub with manure. Until im able to get to the horse fields, i bought a bag of new plant life composted manure and soil.

Its cow manure and peat.

I read its suppose to be leached. I cant do that at my apartment. So i was thinking i would heat dry it in the over. DO you think this will get out the ammonia? The ammonia is from urea correct?

The substrate looks just like good  dirt, with no smell.
Do you think i need a ph meter?

Right now im pulling between 4 to 6oz on my first flush. 4 quarts spawn to about 10 quarts 50/50. If i can get 6 to 8oz i can run less monos. Ive got everything pretty much dialed in, im just trying to increase yield and maybe cut down on the amount of spawn i need IE the amount of work.

Im also using a mix of rye berries and winter wheat to make a more balanced breakfast.

Im pretty confident ill see results.
