Recommendations and advice

I've only tripped a couple of times, and the last time that I did was 9 years ago. I have some dried Pink Buffalos and looking for some input and advice what you think I should start with for a good experience, but I don't want a super crazy intense trip right now because I'm waiting for Christmas. I kind of want to use this chance as a tester but yet experience a little something. Do you think one gram is good or too light? That may just give a little slight stoned feeling though right...? I want to experience something a little more than that. How does 1.5 grams sound? I'm thinking about lemon tek, so maybe just half a gram? Lemon tek has been saying it is more intense and to take half as what I usually should... What do you recommend and what has been your experiences? I plan trying to take it later tonight.

depends on the potency, really, but I'd say anything from 0.8 - 1.4 of a good quality will get you where you want to be.
Maybe forget the lemon tek, get a blender, a cup of boiling water, the amount of mushrooms you want (preferably ground up) and blend those together until well mixed, then drink it all within 40 minutes. It won't hurt to add lemon to that, but your stomach will process it just was well.
Also, just a suggestion, clean up your living space as much as you can, make it look as nice as possible, prepare & get out what you know you'll want to explore and play with but have the rest of the space clean & tidy. Cleanliness is next to godliness, as they say!

It sounds like then just close to a gram and half? Anything over that will be much more intense. I’ve been wanting to do it the last couple of days but I always put it off because I get an anxious anxiety feeling before I do it and I hate that.

The right time will pivot that hesitant anxiety into an anticipatory embrace, it's always better to wait for the right time when it comes to something so possibly transformative.

That anxious feeling is normal, I even feel it slightly before micro doses and definitely every time I take a dose above 1.5g. Don’t hate it, embrace the feeling. (Kinda feels good when that feeling melts away). If you can plan a day, spend that day doing some good relaxing things, commune with nature, read a bit, meditate, listen to good calming music and have a time planned that you’ll take them. Then, when the time comes, irregardless of that anxiety, just take them. It’s all about facing your fears (I find taking mushrooms as a way to face my fears and it makes it easier to face my fears in life since I remember the churning stomach I’ve had before every trip),
In terms of dose, if you have cubes of average strength, it’ll depend on what you want. I take them in capsules and see effects as such:
0.1-0.4g - Short experience, mostly body, some feelings of peace and relaxation.
0.5-1g - Same as above, increase in duration and starting to feel giddiness, big grin on my face during the waves.
1g-2g - Intensity starts in these ranges. Cevs are present, generally have the pull to close my eyes and be in a dark place to travel inwards.
2g-3g - Bodyload getting pretty intense, the “psychedelic” feeling present. Ego begins to be silenced, good place to learn how to surrender. OeVs and CeVs are prominent.
3.5g + The handrails start coming off. Body load nails me to the floor. Can be feelings of euphoria, bliss as I travel in the psychedelic space or, if things are difficult, this is where I notice possibility of uncomfortable delirium or difficulty. This is where the experience really begins.
Adjust these numbers based on your individual chemistry, potency of substance, and set/setting.
