I tried to find a thread about this strain but couldn't. Has anyone grown this strain before, or know where I could read about it on this site?

Ralphster typically has info on most cube strains on his site. There really isnt much more i would imagine you could/would need to find out about a specific strain outside of what's there. Most cubes grow the same and I dont think there is much different about malabar compared to most cubes.

I wouldn't think so either, but they're so damn wierd lookin' in the picture that's on sporeworks, and having grown Penis Envy several times, I know that some strains are more of a pain in the ass than other ones (especially the wierder looking strains), so I wanted to read about it from someone who has grown them before I spent the money for some spores.

I'm viewing them right now, what do you want to know?
and if you want some other experience with them, ask ChromeCrow, they're his favorite.
look down at the bottom of this thread also.

i grew malabar once. Its a pretty good strain. Looked very beatiful and was ready to pin before the old man found it and tossed it out. Seemed like a decent easy strain to grow and i bet the fruits would be meaty too.

Yeah the sporeworks pictures sold me, in 10 days I have the most Amazing loooking substrate. colonizes fast and looks beautiful. Thick white clumps all over the place.
Not sure theyre goinhg to look like the image on sporeworks though, I have yet to see anyone else post ones that look likt that, and since its from a MSS I can see it being a total crap shoot. I cant wait to fruit these, going to let them colonize like craxy ...
\anyone know if its a bad idea to let sub colonize for like 25 days or so, is that too long??

Not one of my mushrooms did that weird thing with the veil like the pictures you're referring to.

I’ve grown it before and they always put out those extended veils. Could just be environment. This isn’t them but usually the veils look just like this.
