Help! Uber noob in potentially way over his head.

Ok so I've been reading these forums for years but never signed up because of the amazing plethora of information provided here I've yet to have a question I couldn't answer with a simple search. Basically I live in a place where it is incredibly difficult to get my hands on mushrooms but recently I was able to acquire some which were amazing. I made some spore prints and decided to jump into growing but I'm stuck. I can't get my mycelium to fruit. I originally just assumed my prints were from psili. cubes. but after having so much difficulty I did some more research and I'm worried I may have ended up with something more difficult maybe pan. cyans.? If you could help me identify I can troubleshoot my grow a little easier...
ID info... They were grown somewhere in a tropical region in southeast asia that's about all I know. The guy who sold them to me said they were grown in a place that has small mountains but I think he was trying to keep me from knowing that they were actually grown nearby and he didn't want tourists sniffing out spots.
Grow info... I was able to inoculate both brf and popcorn quite easily though it was slow going full colonization took somewhere around 6 weeks. I only had one contamination (thought that was pretty good for the first time) but once I tried to fruit one of the cakes it sat for another 6 weeks before being overcome by grey cobbweb. Second try and my cake is at 5 weeks and still no pinning to be seen.
The popcorn was put into a sgfc with a substrate of coir vermiculite colonized well and then sat still for 5 weeks still no pinning.
Not really looking for help on the grow though it would be welcomed, I really just want to identify these suckers so I can do some more research on where I went wrong.

This thread was moved from Mushroom Hunting and Identification.
Reason: Fits better in Mushroom Cultivation forum.

Yeah, those aren't cubes is why you are having issues with using cube teks. I'm not going to say I know exactly what they ARE though.

Thanks for the input! I really only thought they were cubes before I did much research on them and only because they have always been what I thought were most common. Any thoughts on my pan. cyan. hypothesis? I'm hoping that's wrong because from what I've read they're incredibly difficult to grow indoors and this is all I really have access to.

Who TF says something like that to someone they sold shrooms to? Do you live in ASIA? If not then that probably never happened...

Lol sorry should have clarified, yes I'm in Asia and they were bought in Asia. So basically I'm pretty sure since they were fresh at time of purchase they came from nearby, but the guy said they were from a semi-mountainous region not too far away (maybe a day by boat which is how they would have to have been transported from there). I really think that's not the case though because they are sold in abundance where I purchased them.

Definitely Panaelous cyanescens
Definitely a bit trickier than cubes. Check out jakeoncidβs posts about growing pans.
Guy you got them from is probably picking them in cow fields and not growing them.

Thanks so much for the positive ID! It's a bit bitter sweet though, I've read some of those teks and they generally seem significantly more complicated (given I basically have no experience). I guess I'm going to have to procure some cattle feces in order to get these to hopefully work.

I'm pretty sure you're right on the cow fields, and thanks for the recommendation about jakeoncid's posts I read a few of them and it's super helpful

I actually found this thread when searching for the aforementioned posts. Its amazing! I'm going to try to read the whole thing, I'm about halfway through already. Defiantly going to try to salvage my grow by throwing some manure on top and see what happens, but will use some of my popcorn mycelium to start over with a better quality substrate too and see if that works as well.
