This summer I got to experience some other psychedelics I thought I would never gotten the chance to use, I drank San Pedro and Ayhauasa and I have to say both we're very unique in their own way. San Pedro was a experience that I can't really put my finger on so it's very difficult to explain, San Pedro has a male presence just like mushrooms. Ayhauasa wasn't what I was expecting but each their own I suppose.
I just have this relationship with mushrooms that I can't really explain.I look at mushrooms like a pimp they can love you like no other thing and can treat you like a dog and smack you around really good.
Now I'm not saying the others won't because I only did them once with a fairly light dose, I would like to go deeper with San Pedro though. The only downfall you have to find room for such a long experience.

Why do you say male?
Drugs have no sex.

Wouldn't be a bad name for a mind altering drug. That's actually really clever.

Because San Pedro and Mushrooms clearly have a dominating male presence to them. Masculinity.

Being male or female has nothing to do with the feeling of a male presence.

People that know little about psycology might think that.
There is a cause for everything. It's not as if drugs are preformatted software. It just doesn't work that way. Not to derail your thread.
But one might feel a female essence and another male. I never heard either from anyone is why I asked.

I just finished reading about this some people feel both while tripping. The trip reports I read say with San Pedro the overwhelming presence of a strong dark male entity could possibly be their fear manifesting in the way with the cactus that it seems like a male.
Kinda off topic I also saw a mass amount of people that thought they were stuck in the trip forever. Didn't know that was a thing.

Very common people fear "perma tripping". It is a quest for a few.

The thought of Permanently tripping is definitely a thing. That's when the mushrooms fuck with your perception of thought and time. This is what happened to me on my last trip, to a balls to the wall degree.
I was stuck in these never ending thought loops.. almost blacking out and becoming unconcious when they'd hit.. staring into nowhere & then finally would acknowledge that I'm losing my shit to get lost in another loop before I can grip onto anything. Felt as if I was losing my mind, and knew it.
Then, I decided to try and walk and just move my body to maybe get some more oxygen to the brain and change the setting... to only relive the same moment over and over. Every step I took, was the same as the last one.. the same thought with every step "am I even moving".
Felt as if I was on a treadmill walking through the woods, going nowhere. I thought this was it.. I thought I finally broke my brain. I've never experienced thought and time distortion to that degree. And this has been a dose I've taken multiple times.
Mushrooms will fuck with you hard and they love it. I remember, as I was walking thinking I was in this same moment over and over.. I started to laugh. I knew it was the mushrooms.. I laughed in a scared way and yelled "you sneaky fuckers bahahaha". Literally.. thought I was losing my mind lol.
If someone would have seen me that would have sent me to the ward

Any fear in that state of mind will be greatly warped and/or exaggerated. It is also possible in that state, to recognize fear as not being an advantage. The illusion of fear becomes a lot more dramatic, perhaps easier to separate from. Sorta a surreal essence to the emotion.
The real issues with subconscious activity, is that body reactions are more powerful and difficult to transcend. Mushrooms in my experience, or tripping in general, make it harder to recognize and be overwhelmed by the body.

Lol wtf since when do mushrooms have a dominating male presence
They do for YOU maybe. Not objectively or for me. If anything they feel feminine
Beyond our own experiences, no substance objectively is masculine or feminine
The idea of Masculinity and Femininity are social constructs anyways and are objectively inclusive so it has too do with how WE perceive those things and relate them to ourselves
Just sayin

Expectations ruin experiences, that being said if drinking aya didn't kick you in the brains as you were hoping try vaping DMT, that's a whole different ball game.

@Vibe I yell stuff at the mushrooms, too. They seem to be pretty accommodating
When I think of mushrooms, it's definitely more feminine. But even as I type this, I'm questioning that. It's definitely not masculine for me...but it sure isn't "nurturing Earth goddess" feminine either. Gender-neutral prankster psychiatrist?
