Panaeolus In Grass?
    #26378569 - 12/13/19 06:41 AM (4 years, 2 months ago)

Habitat:
St.augustine grass that looked to be well manicured - central fl

Looks identical to p.cyan ive found growing in dung many times.

Just waiting on more defined spore print

Bruising:
Green & Blue

The fact that these look like dung loving p.cyan, bruise blue has me perplexed. The fact its growing in grass it can't be p.cyan right..so what is it???? Input is greatly appreciated as always.

my cat says hi

I honestly can't see any of the blue bruising you mention. But it looks like a Paneaeolus species nonetheless.

Your cat is gorgeous, please say hi!

It looks more like an active lawn pan.

Two active lawn pans will be about as noticeable as eating two non-active pans.

Pan foes are not active.  If you felt anything is was a placebo effect

You wouldn't of felt anything anyway if they were active.  Your dose was too small.  Active lawn pans take almost an eighth for a dose.

Im speaking to the 5htp, serotonin, and serotonin metabolites p.foe supposedly has..this is why i mentioned my mood..of course my source is Wikipedia tho

I tend to agree zoro.. I have personally bioassay a LOT of P foes. They donโ€™t make you โ€œtripโ€ but there is definitely a โ€œlight euphoricโ€ effect. Almost sedative. 5HTP and serotonin are serious chemicals as far as your brain is concerned?

Would need to look at some peer reviewed articles for 5htp, but its over the counter supplement i used to sell at gnc when i worked there..related to mood regulation and appetite suppressant..the serotonin on the other hand is definitely involved with mood, specifically depression. But im not gonna pretend to be a dr here..thats why i asked for data on p.foe
