BRF cakes pinning in jars?

Hey all,
I am totally new to this hobby and enjoying every minute of it. I inoculated my first BRF Tek jars on 11/17 and they are reaching full colonization now.
I noticed yesterday that two jars have what I believe are pins starting.
Should I birth these jars now or wait for consolidation?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply, I know what I'm doing this weekend!
Thinking about fruiting in a HC instead of SGFC, how do you all feel about that?

I've never a fan of either, sadly. For my short cake run, if was just a tub with perlite and two 1/4 inch holes on the short sides up top. Sorry friend.

I didn’t like either.
How many cake do you have? If you have 4 you can use a cheese grater to shred them, then mix into some coir for a nice little shoebox

I have five of that batch and six of another close behind. This is my very first go at this so I thought I'd give the SGFC a try but have been reading tons of posts and came across the HC Tek and it looks like people have had good success with it.
The idea of grating them into court is interesting though.

My vote always goes to the SGFC. But I've noticed in the last couple of years that people are moving away from them. I've always had great results with them though.

I’d go with shoeboxes. Either to shred them into coir or to use as humidity chamber.
I just did a couple cakes for fun to try them out and I put like 3/4 inch of wet verm in the shoebox then set the cakes on their foil in there and left the lid resting on top.

Thanks for the input guys. I bought some coir today and plan on an HC in an 11L container that I bought initially for a SGFC.
Looking forward to sharing some success photos soon!
Thanks to the Shroomery community for all the great teks and know how!
