What do I do? A delima!

Ok, this may seem dumb to you, but bare with me. I was raised in way, that ingrained upon my subconcious mind to beleive that when animals die, they die(no afterlife). Now, a while ago a post was made asking if yall felt guilty about killing any living thing(bugs, animals, ect)and if it was wrong... Heres the dilea:
I find myself at instinct(dont even think about it) swatting bugs and killing insects. Because I was raised christian, and they are big on the "we are the most important thing", whenever I asked my parents what happened to bambi when he got ganked, they would always say " animals dont go to heaven". Anyways, so now(from personal experience), I have a greater respect for all life, and would never harm an animal or other person, unless its called for(protection, ect). But as I type now, the screen is semi blurred in an area from where I swatted a knat on my screen on instinct. If I have such love for life, why do I do this? How can I get around being programmed by my parents, and society, that bugs and rodents are meant to die. I mean, sometimes I feel silly for feeling guilty for killing a small fly, but feelings are feelings, and im trying to live my life now where I adress them, insteaded of moving on and letting them be, and the shromery is a good place to ask cause alot of you think like I do, and alot of you dont, so I can get a good wide range of opinions. I think animals are spirits in thier own way, and posibly insects, and also plants. How can I escape this moral dilema?

I mean dont make its lifes goal to kill everything in your path.
If you swat a bug its not a big deal. In fact swat the bug it doesnt care it lacks the possibility to feel or care and it perceives no harm and experiences nothing you should feel guilty for. It doesnt have a social fabric, a family, a wife or kids. It does not understand what offspring means nor does it feel compassion towards them.
Dont be a dick but you kill plenty of shit when you wash your hands and brush your teeth so why stress yourself

I once read people eat an average of 7 spiders per year in their sleep

The Christian bible tells us that God loves and is part of all his creation. The same spirit of life is in them as is in us. Bu senselessly killing those insects you are infact destroying part of God. God gave us dominion of plants and animals so we could be stewards of the earth and live in peace and harmony. Senselessly destroying life or abusing animals is not living with care or love for everything like what his taught by Christians. Also the bible says they're animals in heaven.

Some cultures have a ritual of thanking the spirit of the animal for giving up its life for your sustenance. So a spirit does not necessarily imply you shouldn't eat something, depending on who you ask.

That's because in alot of native American nations every animal is considered holy and part of the great spirit or whatever.

Seems that if the animals don't go to heaven there will be none there, that doesn't sound like heaven to me
P.s. bugs and rodents: self defense

I would worry more about believing christian propaganda than killing an insect. Either way karma indicates your screwed. But far less screwed not believing in the modern interpretations of Christianity.
Do you really think Jesus intended chuch to be bad pop music about going to where they do not understand?
All is conscious, perhaps heaven and hell are the same and we separate into religion to distinguish survival mechanisms. Neither can be rejected, because it is just not possible.
