Yes, the spot on the right is most likely some sort of mold.

Hard to tell. I don't like the one on the right. When I get mold that is fluffy around the edges and not in the middle I look in that bald spot in the middle for glistening on the tips of the myc. These will get more prominent until it will start to look dusty. After that comes the color change. I try to id them and get rid of them at this dusty glistening stage before spores mature. If those two colonies are the same thing and one goes bad likely they both are bad. There's several contams I've seen that do this. I think trich and penicillium stay more dusty but aspergillus gets more glistening. Also when I see stands of myc that are really clear or seem thicker tend to be mold too. They only seem white when there's a bunch of myc in one spot. There's lots of good pics to compare things to in the contam forum. Hope that helps

You'd have the best chance of saving that culture if you transfer it before the mold spot sporulates
