Onset of Borderline Personality Disorder and shrooms?

Hi everyone,
Around a year ago I began using psychedelics frequently. Each time I had extreme paranoia and anxiety. On acid it was manageable, but every time that I have done shrooms it is uncontrollable.
Since these trips I began to feel more paranoid and anxious overall. I assume the worst of everyone and everything they say and it has damaged all of my social relationships. These issues made me suicidal often and i have had multiple suicide attempts. I have not been diagnosed but I think my symptoms warrant the onset of BPD.
I have been struggling with this alone and just wanted to see if anyone else on here has had experiences with shrooms triggering severe mental health issues. If someone out there has had this and gone through it i could really use some hope.
Thanks all

I've no experience with Shrooms triggering the onset of severe mental health issues but I've seen it happen to someone after a really bad ketamine trip. Seemed as though the horror of the trip created PTSD, and then the stress from PTSD was responsible for the worsening of the BPD symptoms.
Obviously I have to recommend seeing a professional first and foremost, however in the meantime you could read I hate you don't leave me, which is the definitive work on BPD for laypeople. It should help give you an understanding of your symptoms and is a good read.
Good luck and all the best for your recovery.

I also recommend reading this book. Consider other issues that the shrooms may have just drawn to the surface.
This book discusses many avenues that illness could have an onset.
The book also discusses blood draws and figuring out what youre deficient in and how to treat with foods like garlic which is an antiviral statement, or certain vitamin supplements.
There are case studies listed in the book as examples too.
For example, 45 y/o man suffering bipolar symptoms for 25 years. When extremely manic he once ran through the streets of new york spending thousands of dollars. On five + prescription meds. The dr. does a blood draw, begins administering vitamin b via injection.
two months later symptoms are gone and the client administers the injects at home and is not on prescription medications anymore.
Every one and body is different, every one has different deficits or too much of certain things making their case unique.
Something may have been triggered, but look at it as the body trying to send a message... what is that message deep down. This book uses a five stage healing module as well, discussin physical, electromagnetic, spiritual, and i forget the other two right now.
Try it out. Good easy to follow read.

Also, look into the Family Systems Theory. basically the family term for "generational trauma".
It gets deep, my book talks about it as well.

Im sorry to hear of that.
Meditation and yoga can help you to rebalance your psychic energies, if you can get into them with a decent teacher.
This story is not unique. Psychedelics can do this sometimes. Its not all bad though. Now you know that you've got to deal with your mind. We all have to, but it can be so hard to see that. It's heavily obscured normally, and living a sensually pleasing life can obscure it to the point of oblivion.
Then you get to the end of your life and realize you did nothing to come to know the nature of your mind.

Interesting. All sides of my fam had deep issues.
It seems mental illness is only so much as there is mind. Taking care of mind while it is there has immense benefits. Mostly drugs will complicate, even meds.
Forget dreams, this is survival. Society seriously lacks survival mechanisms in the complicated times we live in.
