Good stuff gang. Got me some of these just haven't arrived yet. I really like they're no pour and reusable though.
Looking forward to helping figure out how to avoid condensation but without using that tin nutcracker.

Make sure you align all the plates vertically correct, if they are unaligned during the pc cycle, i'm 100% sure you will get partial condensation on the lids of the unaligned plates. I'm saying it because It has happened to me.

I'm going to try this next time, If you see the image above, the only part of the plate that it gets condensation is on the sides above the agar level since there is no thermal mass there. That condensation can slip over the agar surface and create some pooling. A quick solution would be using more agar to elevate the level? There's already a horizontal stop for the lid there:

Then the own plastic lid would add more thermal mass above the horizontal stop line?
Any ideas?
The plate on the left was filled almost to that level:

Or using some kind of tape to add thermal mass on the sides? Like a vynil black tape? Or it will melt?

Are you guys against just pouring the condensation out? Obviously it'd be best to avoid it all together but, it's not that hard to just pour out

I feel the same. As long as there is no condensation on the top lid that can obstruct my view, pooling is not a problem since you can pour it out at the moment of inoculation. You kill two births with the same shot in that sense.
You can also unscrew halfway the lid of your plates, sterilize 100 holy grail plates, by the time you want to use plate number 30, the other 70 plates would have already evaporated all the condensation or pooling in theory.

Not opposed to it verum, but i know it isn’t necessary if done right. I got a rose vase. I had one like the one you found verum but the wife threw it out. Anyway I’ll try this next. If I simply unscrew the lid two notches instead of one, the condensation goes away in 2-3 days.

Not really. I ended up using the plates, but there was a lot of condensation.
Ive been getting some temp fluctuation in my room, and Ive noticed that the condensation will come and go depending on room temp.
Amazon says my new dishes will be here today, so I can give it another shot in probably a week or so.

Well, i have had some regular disposable petri dishes in a room where the temp fluctuates a lot and they get condensation as well, so is not a issue exclusive to these plates. OP says you should put them in a stable room temp.

Thats the point I was making. Its not just these plates. Ive got regular pour plates doing the same thing.
We cant have everything perfect all the time. As home cultivators, sometimes we just have to work with what we've got. It might not be perfect, but as long as its functional...

Oh yeah totally, these plates are not perfect either but they are indeed closer to perfection than any other kind of no-pour container that i have seen. I even wouldn't mind to pour agar on these plates, what i hate the most about using disposable petris it was that i had to use parafilm or ziplock bags and all that, not the act of pouring. Not only you are saving in materials but you also saves lots of time, applying parafilm for 20 plates takes a shit ton of time. Cutting the parafilm, separating the paper from the parafilm, applying the parafilm to the dish, repeating this process for all the 20 plates, pouring literally takes no more than 5 minutes. The fact that these plates don't need GE holes or micropore filters and still allow great visibility is just BIG. The no-pour thing is just a plus.
EDIT: Although the no-pour is also almost perfect in my opinion. If you want 100% perfection well, just pour i guess. But yeah, the level of perfection for no-pour requires a big sterilizer so this is not for noobs since you really need a large container were you can fit around 10 of the plates vertically. Noobs without a big sterilizer could use these plates for pouring tho.

Also let’s say 500 petris are 100$. 96 of these are 144$. By the time you use them 6 times you have already made up for the extra 44$ and then some compared to buying another sleeve of plates. Then you can keep using them for years.

update.... My plates were condensaty as fuck. I just tapped them and poured it off though. If i don't figure out the condensation thing Imma stick with proper dishes. But maybe we can lick the condensation thang.
I suppose one could just wrap them in foil. But that's a lot of foil.
