Saw the stuff for sale at kroger (local grocery store). It was being sold as vitamins for brain health.
Read the back and it warns that is can be dangerous with SSRIs. Come to find out its an MAOI.
Does anyone know about this stuff. Is it safe to use as a maoi in the psychedelic experience?

I do not think ginko is fery strong as an maoi. There was also some indication that rhodiola rosea has some maoi effect. Most studies for rhodiola are in Russian.
Not usually advisable to go mixing herbs/drugs.

Like MG mentioned, I doubt ginkgo will inhibit MAO enough to potentiate things like mushrooms or to make DMT orally active. I doubt ginkgo has the potential to inhibit MAO to that extent.
I use to take ginkgo pretty regularly years ago and I never noticed it having any sort of impact on my trips with mushrooms.
Many different plants/herbs have some MAO inhibition properties, even things like chocolate & coffee & tobacco....Many plants/herbs do have an impact on MAO and might lessen the efficacy of that enzyme a little bit, but they do not inhibit MAO to the extent where it will be noticeable or effective for things like making DMT orally active.
