How are you going to generate 100 megawatts on a factory sized lot that produces zero emissions and keeps on trucking for the 30 years we need to switch to fusion?

Didn't Nikola Tesla have some free energy device that harnessed electrons in the atmosphere?

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Yes. But that technology is considered "top secret" by the US Government:
Quote:
The big electricity producing companies saw the potential danger represented by Nikola Tesla free power generator and made great efforts to throw a shadow of doubt on the inventor’s work, slandering his name in any possible way. He died deserted and penniless nine years after their attack, and the federal government kept silent about the documents and drawings seized after the scientist’s death.

However, there is a change happening. Like this technology that uses ambient radio energy for power: https://www.zdnet.com/article/capturing-energy-in-the-air-to-power-electronics/
Perhaps some day Telsa's free energy collector device will be declassified by the US Government.

Nuclear power is essential for medical radioactive isotopes and I generally support continued nuclear power research and limited building of new plants, but I don't believe that nuclear energy will ever live up to the hype and it will always be a bloated government sponsored form of power unable to compete without subsidies.

I like nuclear power, but people are too stupid and too irresponsible to use it safely. We need some amount of reactors to produce exotic elements for medical and scientific applications, but we're just too primitive as a species to use nuclear power on a large scale safely.
We should probably move everything to solar instead.

Clean coal is the future. And wind power kills birds.
