Monotub advice please. Is this a failure?

First Monotub:
GT MS to agar (Very slow growing even at this stage), cleaned and transferred to WBS grain.
3 colonised jars spawned to Coir bulk 1:1. The coir was hydrated with boiling water (bucket tek) and cooled.
Left to colonise to about 50% before putting into fruiting conditions.
Indirect sunlight, fan blowing indirectly onto nearby wall for 15min intervals all day/night.
Now approaching week 7.
Is this too long or am i being inpatient?

Any advice welcome.

It looks pretty off. Could be bad genetics. If it hasn't pinned 7 weeks after spawning I doubt it will.

Yeah, I think that's probably the case.
Maybe while i get another print i have going, i should just leave it to see what happens.
How gutting.

If you are gonna throw it out at this point, I would try giving it way more FAE as a last attempt.

Okay, i'll try that. Maybe remove the polyfill in the top holes?

Out of curiosity, why did you introduce fruiting conditions at 50% colonization?

I read that some people wait until 100% colonisation, I also read that some people put it into FC immediately after spawning.
Didn't know which to go for and went straight down the middle.

Here’s some advice as I’m not sure what’s currently going on on your grow. Here’s what I do different. Rye berries > WBS First fruit a MS culture. Then isolate and clone to agar using a fruiting body. End up with a monoculture with your preferred fruiting genetics. Wait for 100% colonization. With 1/1 ratio it should take but a week or so. I’ve water dunk. Then set to fruit. Make sure poly is not packed. I like to add some extra nutes to the very well recommended bucket tek. Nothing crazy. A cup or 2 of dried cow manure and a little lime and gypsum is what I add. Don’t want to mess with the water content 7 weeks is way too long. Looks like undeveloped pinheads. I would completely change the environment and hope to trigger new pinning. I would toss it outside if you can. Always keep improving sterility. You cannot under do it
GL. Hope it helps

I didn't explain too well; it's been in fruiting conditions for 4 weeks, it took 3 to colonise to roughly 50%.

Nope, just the water content from dunking the grains and hydrating the coir. Could i have dunked for too long maybe?

Okay, yeah that definitely helps. I'll get hold of some Rye berries. Maybe use PF Tek with BRF to get a fruit, isolate a mono culture on agar, clean and then go through the spawn/bulk process again.
Thanks for the input, i really appreciate it!

Those top holes look a littl. . . way too tightly packed.
Remove 90% of that polly in those top holes, keep an eye on surface conditions, though looking fucked, make sure there's moisture beads and such.
I'm clocking into work.
GL, IMO, not a total failure until I see green or spent.

Okay, I'll try that as a last effort and see if it helps. I'll also take note for future attempts. Thanks for your help.
