Different seeds sprout uniquely. Some need it cold, some need it warm Some need to sit out in the elements for a season. Some take weeks to rise from the earth and others rise as swiftly as the sun. It is not for the seed to proclaim the wrath of God for giving it the things it needs to evolve, for bringing change. This is why the connection of "ego death" to experiences where people perceive death as a happening process grinds my gears. There is no proper association, visually speaking or otherwise. This is why folks interpret kundalini experiences and have nothing to say about visuals usually. They are the same thing that people are interpreting based on the language the community at large provides. It all feels like waking from a deep dream, perhaps that is what it feels like for a seed sprouting into the sunlight for the first time

That's a very accurate play by play. That voice of unreasoning thoughts can be loud.

That last bit.....no!!! I have only ever had one full on ego death. 33 years ago. It went along the same lines as your description, asante. Please god no. Please Satan no. I feel so sorry for my parents, they only wanted the best for me. I’m such a failure, nd now this. I’ve poisoned my self, overdosed on liberty cap mushrooms. Please god, I only took 800, I promise, let me live, and I’ll never take this many again. Then I lose memories of what happened next. I only remember the blackness o f eternity. I literally exist only as an electron, a spark int he infinite dark universe. For literally thousands upon thousands of long cold lonely years! I was gone. The end. Freaked me out and stopped me tripping, for the next 30 years! I am shaken roughly back to reality, no idea how much time has elapsed. I’m lying in a gutter outside a taxi rank in town. The rain is lashing down; typical Lancashire September evening! The rainwater is gushing over me. A circle of Asian taxi drivers is standing over me, concerned. I get the heck out of there nd head back to Clooney’s, with our groups wet cigarettes in my top pocket!
