Ok so here are the tiny blobs (or bubbles). I know itโs probably early to tell, but I wanna toss contams ASAP cause my house has minimal spore load right now.
Whatcha think? Any way I can identify bubble mold early on?

I have 3 shoeboxes of it going. They are pretty slow. Takes like 20+ days for pins. I'm still waiting.
Do you need a reason? I think they look cool af.

A discord user told me that you could put put bubblewrap over the mid of your subs to prevent side pinning
gonna transfer pesudeo to some brf then
what is the easiest stone producer to get into

Prevent side pinning by creating a better microclimate in the middle, maybe. I've seen that. More saran or foil on top cuz it's what we got lying around. I thnk Yogibear was dickin with bubble wrap when he started as well. Prolly works like a charm if done correctly, but so is jst having the conditions correct in the first place. Not that im great at it, but that seems to be how it works.

Okay, but I dont understand how moisture or evaporation is so special on the surface close to the sides. Whats going on there? Why are conditions best at the sides, what are they prefering there?

The amount of moisture that gets in there and evaporates is why creates the microclimate good for pinning. If you can keep the surface of the sub at the same condition (by using the lid) you should see better growth there

To me that looks like its got bacteria. The little blobs look like under the surface knots. I reccon you will get few mushrooms pop and then it will contaminate. It doesnt matter how many mold spores you have in your house its how clean your spawn is. Average room 3 billion mold spores already

I'd estimate my house to have about 3 billion mold spores.... per breath

Was reading a post by Nichrome: "A lot of times the mycelium is more fuzzy like that around the edges as condensation drips down the sides of the tub. The excess moisture causes a fluffy growth due to the mycelium trying to disipate moisture via evaporation. More surface area = more evaporation."
That true? Is that why the edges of my subs get fuzzy and dont hold condensation? I thought there was air flowing under the lid, falling down and drying it out slightly.
