Looks good Wil, probably can spawn soon if fully colonized. Mine were similar, more fluffy growth at beginning but eventually turned rhyzomorphic

I've got a killer burma culture that gets all kind of patchy. What strain is that.

I like weird patterns of mycelium.

Weird patterns tells me the myc is reacting to something.

Cube myc is really straight forward.

Hello Nichrome, so do you think I can go ahead and mix them in the 60/30 Verm/Coir mix?

Here are a couple of the Burma plates showing the blotchy pattern Im talking about. "Bc" is a very nice clone. It grows on grain in much the same way as it does in the dish. blotchy with thick areas and wispy areas. This is from a spore print given to me by a great human being and "TC" on this forum which came with some awesome back story (I love nostalgia like I love a weird looking culture, lots!).

These are the Burmese chunks that come from these weird looking cultures.

Here is a completely different culture that produces standard looking cubes. It originated from prints I gathered in Costa Rica near Playa Uvita. The mycelium is almost curdled and eventually bruises blue in a sort of calico or milk cow pattern and ends up looking more like disgusting blue cheese. It transfers out clean and white over and over and then gets its funk on once it reaches the edge. Regular cubes in the end.

Now I'm not saying the jars in the OP are contaminated or not contaminated. And frankly I'd err on the side of trusting what Mushboy says as he is quite experienced with these critters, and I've seen some awesome things he's pulled of and gleamed useful info from his posts and what he's shared. All I'm saying is these organisms can have some very diverse patterns of behavior, and you should never judge a book by it's cover.  :bow2:

I've spawned way worse than those and ended up tripping on mushies as a result some time later.
