Bacterial contamination

Hey all I have this one jar that just doesn't seem to want to colonize in one tiny spot and several spread out grains that won't seem to either. I am suspecting it is bacterial contamination and I don't want to lose an entire mono tub for one bad jar.
You guys let me know what you think from the pics. I was thinking of just splitting up the prepared sub for a smaller mono tub and spawning the jar in question to a tray and fruiting separately.
What would you do? Is it indeed contamed? Should I just toss it as to not further contaminate my grow space.
Any advice is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!!!

It might not be contaminated, that might be just an exploded grain pressed tight to the jar.
Looks like the grains were a bit too wet.
Do that one on its own. You don't have to use the whole jar, you could skip that ugly part there.

IMO it's good man, doesn't look like contam or bacteria. Just grain that's yet to be colonized, literally just those three grains need to colonize. As JohnRainy points one grain is exploded, give it another couple days and it should colonize fine.

Yeah the spot that looks bad has a bursted grain and they could be possibly over hydratated but I would hate to lose a whole mono tub for one lousy jar. Iβll wait a few days and if I donβt see positive results Iβll divide and conquer. Anyone else want to weigh in though?

Also big ups to you JohnRainy, you have given me some great advice so far even though I should have some experience by now.

Definitely some bacteria in there, lookin thick and milky, bet its super hard to break up too,
if you want to be sure just shake it up and wait for recovery, bet that one is clumpy and takes a couple days or doesnt recover at all, definitely spawn to a shoebox if you end up spawning it, or you can top fruit it with a plastic bag and a handful of coir on top

I was looking at that too. It is thick and milky. But it's such a tiny spot of milk, right on an exploded grain and the exact right colour to be actually just an exploded grain. The wet didn't spread millimetres over to other uncolonized, not exploded grain.
I hope it's just an exploded grain.
Spots like that are ominous though. You really want all the jars to be perfect going into a monotub.
Getting grains the right wetness is a bit harder than just boiling them for awhile. You have to watch to see how long they take to get optimal. The time can vary from bag to bag of the same brand. It really helps things when they are right though. You'll be glad you did it.

I say grab that tooth brush in the background and give the grain a rinse and You will be good to go π
OR
Just spawn it and see what happens. Good learning lessons π
