Would people give their guns to Trump?
    #26371193 - 12/09/19 03:39 PM (4 years, 4 months ago)

People are embarrassed to hand in their guns to the Trump administration, but should we be? Would you be willing to turn in your neighbor? What should penalties be for having guns?

Everyone says that. Nobody is going to come to everyone's doors one day and take all the guns. You will lose them one person at a time and one charge at a time until one day people are too scared or confused to own any guns. Creeping gun rights will take them from your live hands.

Give them up.

I was out on the lake and there was a horrible boating accident. All my guns fell overboard.
Then when I leaned over to grab them all my ammunition fell in.

Now I don't have anything.

Remember when the government confiscated bump stocks?

It wasn’t Hilary. It wasn’t Obama. It was Trump

Koods quit lying, they didn't confiscate them, or should I say couldn't because there was no registry on them.

Number of Bump stocks turned in.

They can have my gun, I'll just build one that is full auto, and untraceable. Unlikely they'll find all my stashed ammo.

Gun Building pdf's

Why is everyone so hard for getting rid of guns, they're pandora's box, that train has sailed and it's open as fuck. The risk associated with trying to scoop up 393,347,000 guns from people whose beliefs and culture hold as an unalienable right to own, just isn't worth it.

How am I lying? The government required bump stock owners to turn them in. Without compensation.

Nobody turned them in, compensation or not. Nobody turned in a device they paid for in
non tracked purchases, making it an unenforceable law. Ya didn't even look at my link didja?

It's not unenforceable.  It's just being held up while the federal government works through court challenges by people who are trying to argue that it's unconstitutional.  The only people implicating that as a failure are right wing agitprop mouthpieces who know that they can get more traffic from neoconservatives if they beg the question like that.

I doubt that.  Usual XUL post to stir up radical republican agendas.

8 kids a day in the USA are injured by unsecure home kept firearms.  I'd like to see how rare a firearm saves a life.

Usual american watched too many westerns and hollywood bs.
