two questions

I have 2 questions for you guys today. First is what would be the reason for shoeboxes to not get a 2nd flush? I have never not gotten multiple flushes from my shoeboxes. I got 36g dry from 3 shoe boxes first flush.
2nd question, what kind of mold is this? https://i.imgur.com/CnIpjZB.png
I have 16 jars colonizing and they all look great except this one. It's like 5x more colonized and has some kind of white pustules growing. I shook it and opened it and it smelled like heavenly mushrooms. I disposed of it.

Lack of a second flush could be a hydration issue. What do you do to the tub after the first flush is complete?
Not sure about the mold.

Well if you have contamination problems that will lead back to how you sterilise or the lack of proper sterilisation.
This can hinder even the first flush so be thankful and take note this is why you may not get second third flushes.
Like the guy before me says moisture content obviously also and by looking at your sig pics your coir does look dry
It starts with healthy spawn fully consolidated. That is what we want for the best chances of a good grow

You getting 36 grams per box or across 3 boxes?
I have this belief that sometimes a bacterial culture will cause a large first flush then just die. Could be bullshit but I've had a lot of successful boxes from spawm that most folks wouldn't have used. Try starting a new culture and see if that helps you get multiple flushes. But honestly if your pulling 36grams a QT in one flush that's worth it

These jars are not the same culture as what's growing in the boxes.
