(Very?) Slow growth in the SGFC
    #26368872 - 12/08/19 11:32 AM (4 years, 2 months ago)

Hello everyone! I tried to grow Cambodgian cubs using PF tek. Everything went well, and all my 20 jars came through the colonization without getting any contams. :sun:

However, it's been 3 weeks since I put them in the SGFC and I get a very slow growth... Last time, with GT, all the cakes grew at the same time, giving many mushrooms.

Here, I only get a few per weeks, 1 per cake.. I got less in 3 weeks than with the GT in 1 harvest(flush)...

Any idea? I thought Cambodgian gave good results. Temps is 79°, I vent them and mist them everyday, 3 times a day (I gotta work)

SGFC shouldn't need venting and misting is only when needed not on a schedule....can you post some pics?

:whathesaid:

When I was doing a SGFC I would only mist once a day. When I misted more than that my cakes would become too saturated and get bacterial. Also the amount t you get from cakes just depends. It is possible your cakes are too dry though. Might want to look Into bottom watering. Pics would be helpful.
