Low Room Humidity and Monotub?
    #26368397 - 12/08/19 06:40 AM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Hey Guys,

Now that it's winter, the indoor heat is in full swing, which is causing a the humidity in my house to be very low at around 30-35%. I am running a Monotub with 6 (1.5") holes with micropore tape over the holes. Inside is coco coir/vermiculite mix. My plan is to "set-it and forget it" and not spray etc based on the tek that I am following.

Do I need to be worried about the humidity in my house being so low? If so, what can/should I do?

Same here in the winter time. But I get away with it. After the first flush I've to mist maybe a little more then in the summer. It also depends on how much water is in your substrate when you start. Before the first flush I don't do anything but wait.
