Christ must have been two parts, the Yin Yang
    #26368189 - 12/08/19 01:18 AM (4 years, 2 months ago)

Jesus was a prime metaphor for the balance between good and evil. He was also a balance between what the energy called the devil and the energy called the savior were about.

Since it's been a while, and I had to check, so many years have passed and no one even knows religion hardly anymore.

Or do they?

What religion are you?

When people ask me this questions I just say that I am a person of the spirits, of heaven, or of a higher power.

What do you say, and what do you openly practice?

I say I'm agnostic. I know there is something greater than us (including the lizard person I saw IRL) but to try and define it or narrow it down to a particular religion seems hard. I cant pretend I know what's going on out there and I dont expect to convince anyone out there to believe what I believe. At the end of the day I believe in SOMETHING but I dont really know what that something is.

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

Jesus was Adam and God was Eve

Jesus + God = Adam + Eve = YinYang + Devil = Enlightenment + Heaven = Pizza = 42

By spiritual identity, consider myself a witch
:witch:

openly practice a mix of spiritual practices
basically a syncretism of whatever works for me
primarily Buddhism, Hinduism, Daoism
but also draw inspiration from things like Christian Hymns (rather than Biblical verses)
also modified things like shamanistic practices learned over the years, but when people talk to me about them will openly recognize them as non-traditional

in terms of worship,
Parvati, Kali, and Shiva from Hindu tradition
Sirona the goddess of healing springs in Celtic/Gaulic tradition
and to a somewhat lesser extent, Kaang a trickster deity from Kalahari traditions; and Tara from Tibetan Buddhism; also Avalokiteshvara, but primarily as as a combined branch meeting point between Shiva and Tara

A little treasure trove, a grove, upon an island, not deserted but tucked away in a mystical mist, in an emerald ocean hovering on a cloud bank of earth like clusters, in a realm of holographic ideas, and with craggy like features, waters falling from highest peaks, forming a cascading stream flow, and rainbows in the mist.

The water splatting on the rocks, and drops of water splashing into my face as I inhale the scent of the mountain.

I think about lives I have changed, and will continue to do so. I thank the all mighty on high, the Lord for all my blessings, and I echo this throughout the realm, for it must be known, that it was not done alone.

Many other heroes have come to my aid along the journey, and still, guide me in this journey, for no Hero can exist without the Lord, and all of his/her companions, even if for a while they walk alone, broken upon the rocks.

Together we all will rise, in the spiritual ascension, upon death, and even some in life will be taken to that place.

From here on out, the only praise is to the Lord, whom is the God and Goddess of all others. The one true Ruler of all the earth and the afterlife here on this humble stone in the universe.

What if Christ is the allegory of the self, disconnected from source, remembering its true power as the source of creation itself, and everyone is just missing the forest for the trees regarding religious labels?

Jesus was all about love and then got crucified.

Everyone is, "agnostic"

Gnosticism refers to knowledge, and nobody "KNOWS".  Nobody can provide sufficient evidence to justify complete knowledge.

Theism refers to belief.

You say you believe in SOMETHING but you don't really know what that something is.  That's really not a compelling argument at all.  Can you elaborate on what you believe, and why you believe it?
