Slightly Bacterial Jars: Still Okay for Monotub? ((pics!!))

Good Evening Shroomery! Is it winter yet?
To my dismay, a jar I thought looked good for g2g just proved itself to be bacterial, I’ve heard mixed opinions on using bacterial jars, some say to scrap it, some say you might get a killer first flush.
these are a few of my jars,

advice mush appreciated!

Proved bacterial? How long after your shake and how colonized before your shake are we talking here. Those look fine, just not finished. Check back in with updated pics when they're done colonizing. I would expect those to be fine.

I don't see any bacterial contamination in your jars. I've used bacterial spawn before with no problems. Of course it depends on the level of your contamination.

Probably better off spawning it to a shoebox rather than have it bring down the other jars.

Didn't you just make a post two days ago with pics and everyone (including myself) said they looked fine? What changed to make you think they are bacterial?

My apologies I included like the best looking jars of the bunch, here’s another three where it’s a bit more obvious, hopefully it helps

and yeah u rite about not spawning with clean jars but I have like 20 haha of these so they will be with each other haha darn I used a bunch of good grain jars on a dirty g2g
to shroomflow: yes that is accurate, my apologies if I should’ve kept that post going instead, after a few days they looked much different so I figured I’d post the new pictures as a question about the yield they would bring. Perhaps i should’ve posted them on my original, definitely not trying to clog up shroomery
thx again guys for all the advice

yea I gotta pick up some shoeboxes lol I guess that would cut down on introducing infections, but seems like a lot of work compared to a monotub
but yeah, if they aren’t contaminated I’ll be elated, & post the results
anyone agree it looks like a contam? I feel a bit like i’m fighting against myself haha

Why don't you just wait and see if you get some colors... What do you have to lose?

That's too far gone. You need full colonization

So, is yxngautumn's jars contaminated? I haven't heard anyone say that they were... I assume yxngautumn pointed out the furriness of it? Because we know there is no color anywhere, which is the easiest to spot out. These grains only show what appears as fuzzy mycelium. Good to spawn or treat it as a contamination?

Shoeboxes are not particularly any extra work. If it colonizes fully then use itm if there's noticeable uncolonized potions check back in, but likely not worthy. Small tiny spots can work, just not ideal

If there are areas that are not colonizing because of bacteria, it looks like that. If OP just hasn't shaken his jars enough, that's a different story.
When people talk about getting flushes from bacterial spawn, it still came out of a fully colonized, almost normal looking jar.

I know plenty about spawning contaminated jars. It's almost my specialty. Let's see what happens as it goes.

Sorry, my intent wasn't to try and shame you for multiple posts. I really wanted to know what happened to make you think your jars are bacterial. As far as I can tell, even with your most recent pics - they look fine. Did they suddenly change color or odor?

😆 i’m geeked, here’s to a good thread!
end the confusion on my least favorite contam so far,
I haven’t shaken the jars since g2g, you guys suggest I do? I got a couple that are almost fully colonized and half that i’m fairly certain don’t have much of a shot of recovery, they’re barely able to finish colonizing, smh bacteria
here’s the last picture of the worst jar I have, to try and get a reaction outta the people haha I know it’s a hard one to spot, cost me like 2 months worth of work, but this pic should look nasty

notice how the grains are almost falling apart and turning to mush

Don't waste time pressure cooking simple ass contams, just dump em out. You don't pressure cook spoiled food.
