Agar cloning, what’s the next step?

This is my first week with agar, I took 4 tissue samples of a fruit I liked, two of them I thought had contams so I took two transfers from each of those. Now it turns out one wasn’t contaminated it was just more myc from when I was trying to scrape the tissue off.
So this picture is the two original samples that look clean, and the third one that I thought was dirty but it was just mycelium.
Since I’ve transferred from the plate already what’s next? Do you guys throw the plate out? I’m thinking I’ll let it grow then put it to wbs.
Also which sections would you guys transfer from?

Transfer the thickest looking rizomorphic areas. Like in top pic, that strand at 3:30.
The bottom one at 11 has some strands that are a little longer than the rest it looks like. That might be a good one. Its faster than the rest. That's a good indicator.
The second one looks kind of lacklustre, but it looks stable, it's not sectoring like the others.
That's where Im at with this right now anyways.
Word on these boards is there is no real way to know what's going to be a prolific fruiter by agar appearance. I think that's probably true. But other word is that rhizomorphic mycelium is the indictor to look for. I would say speed of growth is one too.

That is correct, mycelium morphology on agar does not correlate with potency, fruiting, or yields. I have fruited tomentose myc before and the yield was larger than a rhizo one, that's anecdotal though. One thing that is for sure with rhizo growth is that it is more aggressive and faster.

I don't really throw my plates away. I just label them and store it in my fridge just in case. I only throw them out when they've been stored over 2 years or I don't find any use for the culture anymore.
