Missed some aborts and pins...
    #26366367 - 12/07/19 07:13 AM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Whenever I harvested my block I tried to clear everything and get rid of the all the aborts and pins from my first flush in preparation for my second flush. I made sure to soak my substrate and then put it back in the tub. Whenever I did that I noticed there were still some that I had missed, but I already put the block back in the tub and didn’t want to take it out all over again with the possibility of handling it too much or breaking or something. Is that going to be a problem or cause anything if I missed and left some aborts and stuff?

Mentions that aborts can be more common points of origin for Cobweb contamination than average (thread is 6 years old) and it recommends them to be removed during harvest if possible to reduce chances. If mycelium is healthy the overall chances of contams are lower but every little risk  that can be avoided but isn't can cause it to tip over the edge and go bad faster.

Generally aborts can start to rot so it can't be a good thing - either neutral or bad.
