ID request- p. allenii, cyan or neither?
    #26365271 - 12/06/19 03:09 PM (4 years, 1 month ago)

Hi all, sorry I cant provide a habitat pic, but I believe these to be p. allenii. Found just south of the bay area, twice as many pins are growing in this patch. The ones I picked look a little old but luckily not waterlogged.
Mild bruising, mostly on the stems. Taking a spore print now. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say Allenii.

Cyans.  Check out the wavy cap on the young one.

Ah very interesting. Any idea how long for the pins to mature? Wondering when I need to check back on this patch. I made a slurry with some of the nasty ones not in the picture, as well as took some chips with mycelium and lightly buried in my garden. My garden is the same habitat as where I found this patch so I'm hoping to have a few patches of my own next season
