It's been raining on the central coast for about a week now. Not too many mushrooms out yet, but I did find a few clusters today. I'm a bit rusty on ID but I'm leaning towards Gyms for these. All were growing on pine stumps.

                   


Normally the spores would be all over, making it obvious to me at least, but it was pouring rain when I found these.


Here's some Gyms I found last year just for a bonus.


Now that I look at the honeys in my sig I really think these are gyms.

Yes, Gymnopilus species. Compare to G. junonius and G. ventricosus.

They are indeed Gymns, I think i see some blue tones so my money's on G. junonius
