ID Request - Possible Cyans

Habitat - San Francisco (a well known park). Growing about 100 yards from a batch of confirmed Cyans that I found last year. Wood chips (pictured) in a well maintained area.
Gills - pictured (not sure how to describe them)
Stem - Chalky white
Cap - Light brown with blue/purple discoloration, particularly around the edges.
Bruising - Dark blue/purple
Location - San Francisco, the first clear day after 2-3 days of nonstop rainfall.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
-----
If these are indeed Cyans (holy shit there must be like 200-250 of them) do I need to be concerned about the ones that have wilted and turned dark? I included a picture of one rather large one that has been upturned completely (image #6).
Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Those look pretty far gone. Definitely looks like Psilocybe cyanescens or allenii. Leaning toward the latter, but could just be the mangled state they're in.
I don't fuck with those dark, water-logged ones, but keep checking that spot.

Psilocybe allenii.
Dude you have to dry those asap after 12-18 hours spore printing, preferably with a dehydrator.

Damn! This was only about 1/4 of the flush, too. The rest was completely black and rotted out. These were the closest I could find to pickable.
I had a feeling they were too far gone as soon as I saw them, but it was worth a try. I’ll check back tomorrow for new growth.
Is there any way to use these in an attempt to grow in my own backyard?

If you blend them up in water and dump them on new wood chips it could possibly work in the correct habitat.

Pretty sure I found a little grouping of cyanensis in Emeryville, could I get some help on the id? Thank you. Apologize for hijacking the tread - not sure how to start my own yet. Cheers to a good year y’all!

Okay, I’ll likely just get a long wide pot and give this a go. Does there need to be soil underneath, or can it just be a deep bed of new wood chips?
Thank you for the advice.

“Slurry” yields more than 8k results. I’m butting up against 30+ hours since I picked these. I’m happy to share a post that you would consider to be a document of truth.
Not trying to be lazy — simply noting that I’m in a North American hot spot and many others might want to have an easily accessible (and peak time thread) source in case they come upon an old, rotten, angry flush and want to make the most of it.

Not much to it man. Just put them in a blender with water and let it rip. Then just pour over wood chips. If using fresh chips, boil them first.
Another option is to take fresher stem butts or colonized chips from that patch and use them to colonize cardboard. Just boil a cardboard sheet to remove the glue, split the sheet, and sandwich the stems/chips between the two layers of carboard. Then you can spawn the colonized cardboard to chips.

Yep those are allenii. Could probably salvage some of them, but I definitely would not eat the super rotten ones.

They lack the "nipple" typically seen in Ps. allenii, I agree with Psilocybe cyanescens.

I disagree that allenii typically have a nipple. Are you thinking of azurescens?
